Aromatherapy Information

Aromatherapy is as old as civilization, but it's become one of the fastest growing areas of interest in the Natural Health Industry, both for the lay practitioner and the professional. It involves mixing and applying the Essential Oils of aromatic plants and flowers to achieve therapeutic effects.

This requires in depth study of Essential Oils, Aromatherapy Scents, Botany, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Massage and Case Studies as well as guidelines on operating your own Practice.

Successful graduates of the full program of Aromatherapy Courses at our College can receive Licensing and Membership with the British Columbia Association of Practicing Aromatherapists. Aromatherapy Diploma Classes are available at our Kelowna Campus and by Correspondence.

Course Information

This extensive certificate program is designed for anyone seeking a career & professionally working knowledge of Aromatherapy. Our in class hands on training provides our students with a well-rounded education in this fascinating and dynamic subject.

Contained within this course is the comprehensive chemistry necessary for those wishing to become professional Aromatherapists, designed specifically for students who are lacking a background in chemistry. We offer a detailed study of 70 essential oils, their manufacture, blends, perfumery and lotions, the therapeutic effects, external uses of Essential oils, carrier oils, and clinic management, European Lymph drainage massage technique & practice, as well as clinic management.
