Reiki InformationReiki much resembles touch healing, although through this system the energy channelled into the body is more focused and directed to specific areas of the body. Reiki is used to balance and heal the chakra system, and can be used for specific treatments, as well as a general, overall application. Reiki enables the healer to channel and direct energy for healing during a session, thereby speeding up the body's natural healing process. Reiki can be used to relax the body, lower blood pressure, balance and energize the body and to align the entire chakra system. Reiki has been successfully used to alleviate stress and its many symptoms, to reduce pain or discomfort, to calm and to alleviate fear associated with illness, and to help heal an illness. Reiki restores the body’s natural balances, and has been found tremendously helpful to work alongside conventional medicine, by enabling the body to become more receptive and responsive toward medical treatments. Course InformationThis course covers Reiki at an introductory level, and enables the student, upon completion, to practice therapeutically upon the physical body, aura of a client or to practice self healing. Our course is approved by the Usui System of Natural Healing, and follows its strict traditions, as appointed by Dr. Mikao Usui, who rediscovered this ancient eastern healing art in the 1800’s, and to whom we now owe its rising popularity.
