Q- Can I work in my province or country after taking the certificate or Diploma courses?
A- Yes, The government does not require a register license for our Certificates or Diploma programs or courses. Once you have received our certificates or diplomas you may work for someone or open your own business in any part of the world.

Q- Am I a registered massage therapist?
A- No.  We are not training students to be able to treat any specific problem.  Our students are learning either Spa pampering sessions and/or Wholistic/Natural Healing sessions using a combination of modalities for Body Balancing.

Q- What association do I have to join?
A- None.  It is not required that you join any association, though many students do join to be affiliated with like minded people for networking and fellowship.  Many associations also offer continuing education, trade shows, and they stand behind the practitioners' rights to continue

Q- What wage can I expect?
A- The diploma students seem to receive the best wages due to the fact that they have more modalities that they can perform. Wages go anywhere from $9.00 / hour to 50% of the session price. With the individual certificate courses students can get paid the same but may not be hired as fast or might not get a full time job.  Many businesses are looking for an employee who can multi-task.

Q- What are my payment options?
A- In class-The registration/application fee is due on the day you sign up for the program.  This will hold your seat if taking in-class courses. It is $25.00/course to a maximum of $100.00.  Students taking in-class courses must pay in full on first day of class.

-We are accredited, so students with bursaries or grants from high school can use that funding.
-HRSDC (E.I) and First Nations or Métis, fund for Skills Development; students have received a grant—money for tuition, supplies, lodging and travel. Check locally if you are eligible.
-Need a student loan?

Loans: You will have to request a manual paper application (we are not online).

Correspondence/distant education- there is no registration fee. You pay per course at the time of registration. Only one or two courses are sent out at a time in any program.

Q- What course should I start with?
A- If working towards a certificate or diploma, suggestion is to start with the course that most interests you.  Realizing that Introduction to Anatomy/Physiology, Business, Pathology, all exams, homework and case studies have to be completed before any certificate will be issued. Most students working towards a diploma work on the certificates courses first so that they can receive certificates along the way.

Q- Any price difference if I take all the courses at once?
A- No.  It is the same price all at once, individually, in-class or by correspondence.

Q-How long do I have to finish the courses?
A- The duration varies from one month up to eight months depending on the course.

Q- How long does the diploma program take by correspondence?
A- Every student is different. 2 years would be expected.  Our in-class students come 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday for four months.  They spend an extra 15-20 hrs/week on their homework and case studies. We have some correspondence students who work full time and have been taking courses over a few years.

Q- What if I have some of the courses already?
A- Great!  Send in a copy of your certificate, course outline and transcript.  As long as the course is to our standards or better you will not have to take it again and it will get deducted off of the program price.

Q- Do I have a choice of taking the courses in-class or by correspondence?
A- Yes, We offer the courses both ways. In-class, the courses are offered at specific times. If there is room we do allow part time students to take the in class courses. All of the courses are offered by correspondence, in book and video format.

Q- Do I need a student visa to study these courses in class in Canada?

A- No, you do not need a Study Permit if you are planning to take a course or program in Canada with duration of six months or less. You must complete the course or program within the period authorized for your stay in Canada.
